Kaia does still knee walk lots, and she stands and cruises quite a bit. She will stand for a few seconds at a time on her own if distracted, but she's not at all confident on her feet yet. She absolutely refuses to stand while holding anyone's hands for some reason, and her push walker is only used for knee walking or riding. Kaia loves to climb on her walker, wave bye-bye, and push off with her feet to scoot across the floor. Obviously not the intended purpose, but quite ingenious nonetheless. We think she's actually imitating Daddy when he leaves for work on his moped.
Kaia is also enjoying stacking items and fitting toys together (she has some plastic eggs and shells that she loves), and she's still very into her books. She can say more than 20 words now, including but not limited to: cracker, cheese, nose, mouth, more, poop, purple, book, and ball. Obviously her pronunciation isn't great for all of them, but she does love to chatter.
We've now got 8 teeth on top, either all in or in the process of breaking through, and 6 on the bottom. Kaia has been sleeping terribly, so hopefully once the teeth are in, she will let us rest more.
Other interests include: the cats, helping Mommy with laundry, feeding herself with her Elmo spoon, and pretending to take a bath.
Kaia now weighs about 9.3 or 9.4 kilos, so she's still little but at least has gained some.
