Kaia Every Day: August 2016

Kaia is 8 months old already! I don't have much time to type about her progress, as she's got awful separation anxiety and is screaming for 'NeNe' aka Mommy as I try to write. Kaia had her first tooth (on the bottom) break through right before the 7 month mark; it's now well in but so far the second bottom tooth has yet to make an appearance. Judging by her drool rash, I'm guessing it will show up soon though. Kaia is 7.5 kilos so around the 33rd percentile for her age. Still a small baby, but she likes to eat! Bananas are still her favorite, but she also likes pears, blueberries, cream cheese, and she will tolerate yogurt. She also likes zucchini and green peas are now sometimes ok, but not always. We're hoping to try spinach and also sweet potatoes this week. Kaia's favorite activities still include pulling hair, and she loves anything that makes music. She hasn't been sleeping on her own since we got back from America, so my brain is a bit fuzzy on what else she's doing at the moment. I'm sure I'll remember later if I ever get any rest. Still no crawling yet, but we're lunging forward when we do sit on our own. Mostly we just enjoy being held still, but only by Mommy. She likes to scream NENE!!!! if I'm out of the room or someone else (Dadddy) holds her. Until next month....
