In the past month, Kaia has started rolling about like a donut, and within the last week she's taken to rolling onto her tummy to sleep at night (much to Mommy's horror).
Kaia doesn't have any teeth just quite yet, but her bottom 2 are budding out and will likely break through any day. She's drooling so much that she's developed quite a nasty case of drool rash on her cheeks, chin, and neck. Poor Kaia!
Kaia weighs just about 7 kilos now, so she's still a bit on the small side. But everyone keeps telling me how fat she is, so I'm sure she's ok.
Speaking of gaining weight, Kaia had her first taste of people food this morning: brown rice cereal. Most of it came right back out, but we will try again of course.
Kaia has also taken to vocalizing a lot more, especially when she's angry. Lots of 'mama mama baba dada!!!!!' can be heard when she's stuck in her car seat. She also gets angry when a toy is taken away, and she definitely lets it be known that she wants said toy back.
We're not quite able to sit on our own, but Kaia can sit for a few seconds without falling, and I'm sure she will improve bounds by next month. Until then...
